THERAPY
THERAPY SERVICES
Dr. Bailey and her team offer comprehensive therapy services. She is a cognitive behavioral therapist, meaning she looks at how your thoughts affect how you feel and thus how you behave.
Dr. Bailey believes in brief, solution-focused therapy
and expects her patients to actively participate in treatment. She often gives homework and will work with a patient’s support network if necessary. She is considered to be more direct than most psychotherapists.

YOUR FIRST VISIT
Generally, Dr. Bailey completes a comprehensive clinical interview, which includes getting past history and current problems. The first session is also a time where Dr. Bailey and the patient can find out if they will be a good fit together. In reality, we as people don’t get along with everyone and therapy is no different. If for some reason, Dr. Bailey cannot help, she will find someone who can; it is all about the patient getting the best care possible.

If therapy is for young children, the first session is mostly spent with the parent/caregiver.
To schedule your first appointment, please request the New Patient Forms and email them to Dr. Bailey. Once you have completed the forms and sent them to Dr. Bailey, she forwards them to her biller who then calls to get authorization for services. Once authorization is obtained, an appointment is scheduled.
ONLINE THERAPY
Dr. Bailey and her team is proud to offer virtual/online therapy. She uses doxy.me as her virtual platform. Unlike free services like Skype, doxy.me is a secure and a HIPAA compliant way to talk with patients and initiate consultations.

No special equipment is needed – just a computer with a camera and an Internet browser. You can use your own speakers and microphone on your computer or a conference call line will be provided for you. This service can also be used on tablets, iPhones and iPads.
For therapy patients, this service is only available in California, Nevada and Arizona and Florida residents.
