Bariatric Psychological Evaluations

WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY EVALUATIONS
Most surgeons and insurance plans require a psychological evaluation before weight loss surgery. Dr. Melissa Bailey, PsyD has been a leader in weight loss surgery evaluations for more than a decade, first in Southern California and now in Florida. Evaluations are available across the country.
The goal is not to find a reason to say no. It is to confirm you are ready and help you prepare for life after surgery.
The evaluation covers:
Your weight history and past weight loss efforts
Eating patterns and habits
Mood, stress and coping
Your support system at home and work
Understanding of the lifestyle changes after surgery
